An album for videos and slideshows? This changes everything.

When I heard about the PlayBook Video Player from PhotoFlashDrive, my first thought was “Why didn’t I think of that?!”

As a family filmmaker, I have been less than satisfied with options for delivering family films to my clients. I have mainly relied on internet delivery, but that means I have no control over the type of screen my clients first view their film on or the volume of the audio. As an artist, I feel first impressions of my work are of utmost importance.

I was so intrigued with the PlayBook for a number of reasons. Most significantly, the idea of a gorgeous digital display housed in an attractive album-like exterior sounded like the perfect solution to present media in polished way and nail that first impression. I was eager to try the PlayBook out, knowing it could be an amazing asset to me and my business.

PlayBook feels special right out of the box.

As soon as I opened the packaging, I immediately noticed the quality and workmanship of the PlayBooks. The covers are thick and velvety soft to the touch. If I didn’t know any better, I would have thought it was a high-end album.

On the classic PlayBook Video Player, the embossed detailing of my logo was a feature I adored. There is something truly special about seeing my logo in such a beautiful way.

The full wrap PlayBook Video Player also did not disappoint. The color was excellent and just as I envisioned it would be when designing it. The full wrap PlayBook does allow the option to extend the photo completely around the book. I chose to do this on one of the full wrap PlayBooks I ordered and for the other I simply selected a coordinating color to cover the back.

Another nice packaging touch was the bag with the partitioned compartment to store the USB cord.

I love the quality and ease of use PlayBook offers.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the screen. The clarity and sharpness exceeded my expectations. It is comparable to viewing media on my smartphone but an even better experience because the screen is larger.

The ease of adding content to the PlayBook was noteworthy: It took no time at all to set up and get my content on it. Uploading the video was similar to using any other flash drive and as simple as copying and pasting the content to the PlayBook.

I see so many ways to use the PlayBook Video Player for my business.

There are so many ways I can see myself using the PlayBook Video Player. First, of course, is delivering videos and slideshows to my family session clients. The PlayBook will be a great addition to print products that I already sell to my clients. Since it has the appearance of a beautiful album, it would make the perfect display on a shelf or coffee table.

To really stand out as a photographer, the PlayBook would also be an exceptional way to deliver digitals to clients and something I am going to strongly consider for my traditional portrait sessions.

PlayBook makes it easy to showcase and display my work.

Not only is a PlayBook perfect to share family films, but it will also be a major marketing tool for me. I have had opportunities in the past to display my work at events where potential clients are present. It can be very daunting to gather and display a variety of printed products. The PlayBook would simplify the process and make it easy to showcase a wide variety of my work in a slideshow.

I recommend placing the PlayBook in a location that ideal clients would frequent, such as a bridal show if you are a wedding photographer or an obstetrician’s office if you are a newborn photographer.

I may participate in a fundraising event this year and I definitely plan to use this as part of my vendor display.

I’m excited to wow my clients and increase sales.

This product is exactly what I need to effortlessly and elegantly showcase my family films for clients. It is truly unique in that it can appeal to both the visual and auditory senses but is compact and easy to use. To market my family films, I have to  show my clients exactly what a family film is. I want them to see that everyday moments can be captured in a beautiful and artistic way, and then turned into a treasured film. The PlayBook will allow me to do just that.

As you can see in the video above, my clients were blown away when I presented the PlayBook to them. They had never seen anything like it! I have no doubt that they will share it with many of their family members and friends, which will hopefully draw more clients to my business.

I am so excited to continue to share the PlayBook with clients and offer it as a custom product. PlayBook has the potential to help me set myself apart from the masses and earn more profits as a must-have product. As this holiday season approaches, I am already thinking about how the PlayBook will positively impact my sales.
