Client packaging: Paper Source is a one-stop shop

packaging for photographers

Presenting clients with a beautifully wrapped package makes a huge statement of appreciation for their business and further strengthens your brand. Paper Source is a favorite shop of mine and my first choice for packaging extras. To give myself a challenge, I chose a palette of tones from Design Seeds, and then headed to Paper Source’s website to create a finished package all for one shipping fee!

1. Presentation Envelopes in Plum

Paper Source’s presentation envelopes are 9 x 11.5 inches and made of a thick card stock. They are the perfect choice for 8 x 10 prints and they have many color options. To start with plum as a base, I’m able to add more accents of the other colors in the palette by layering them on or wrapping them around the envelopes. To package 5 x 7 prints, I could use the 5.34 x 8.34 inch envelope, again in plum, or vary it by using the color ‘cement’ to add a neutral tone from the palette. $13 for ten envelopes

2. Washi Tape

Washi tape is one of my very favorite packaging finds because it’s versatile and, like masking tape, comes off cleanly, keeping prints safe from harm. The tape can be used to embellish envelopes and any boxes or as a closer on the back. The pattern adds a hint of texture when placed on a solid colored envelope. $5.95

3. Silver Birds and Leaves on Cream Fine Paper

Fine paper can be used as upscale wrapping for various special items included in your client’s order. The silver birds mimic the purple tones while the leaves bring in green hues. $4.95

4. Lavender Le Pen

This smudge-free pen is perfect for writing inside of your client’s thank you note! The ink color matches the lavender outside. $1.95

5. Aubergine Satin Ribbon

As a statement piece, this ribbon can show clients where their most precious moments are hidden within, and perhaps, which package to open first or to save for the very end! Check out the link for a how-to video on to tie the bow to perfection. Begins at $3.95 for a 1/4 inch ribbon

6. Mint and Natural Jute Ribbon

To further introduce a hint of greenery, this ribbon has a natural feeling while adding a flair of green hues. This is perfect as an added accent on smaller boxes and items in your package. $9.95

7. Blossom Dots Wrapping Paper

This sweet pink paper is great for packaging larger prints, like a styrene mounted 11×14 that won’t fit in an envelope. Made from 100% recycled paper, you can’t go wrong! Sold as a continuous roll. $7.95

8. Blossom Thank You Cards

A client package simply isn’t complete without a note of thanks. Your client has supported your business and chosen you for their custom imagery! Either include this in their print package or save to send later. $10.50
