The photographic community is one that believes in the power of printing our work and our dreams: prints, wall canvases, albums, books and so much more. Is it any wonder we believe in printed magazines, too? But as a small publisher operating on a tight budget, naturally we’ve questioned whether continuing to publish Click as a printed magazine in 2021 is the height of anachronistic thinking.
Happily, Click Magazine’s readers — for whom we’re eternally grateful — have shared that in a world saturated with digital media, they treasure being able to touch and feel this product, and that every issue of Click is not only an educational experience, but a sensory and emotional one as well.
One of the biggest challenges with our chaotic lives is that rarely do we have the time to sit quietly and read and peruse, so we’ve made the decision to transform Click’s frequency to fit your lifestyle, evolving to four larger volumes each year: This issue, Winter 2021, is the first step toward that future.
We want to be the magazine that makes you a better photographer, a more fulfilled photographer. We’ll continue to offer a beautiful and unparalleled publication for photographers and emerging photographers, with four enriching, restorative, collectible volumes every year. For existing subscribers, we don’t want you to worry. You’ll receive the number of issues originally ordered as we gradually phase in our new frequency. Any questions at all, don’t hesitate to email our Subscriber Services team directly at click@pcspublink.com. Thank you for reading and supporting Click Magazine; here’s to a happy, healthy and creative 2021.
