Mini sessions are so popular and for good reason. They are shorter, sometimes stylized and unique. The last part is the most important. Unique. In addition, mini sessions can be an amazing way to get your name out to potential clients who normally wouldn’t see your work.
My idea for airplane mini sessions woke me up one night. I had to get up and write out the plan – from posing ideas to what my kids would wear. The next day, I was completely convinced that I would never book a single one. The concept was great, but in practice I wasn’t sure it would actually work. Then I started telling my friends and family about the idea and was met with a resounding “You HAVE to do those!” I decided to try it out. I took my kids to the location (I had asked permission in advance). And get this? They actually LOVED it! To the point they asked when they would get to go back! That right there was when I knew the mini sessions were a great idea. And guess what? Past clients booked, new clients booked and then they asked when I would do them again!

You put yourself out there and showed you can come up with new ideas for your business. So grab a journal and write out any and all ideas you have for mini sessions.
